Every traveler knows the move: you take the call, drive 1,200 miles on a recruiter's word, and the number changes at orientation. Meanwhile licensed journeymen sit idle back home in slack markets while real calls go unfilled two states away — because the routing layer for this entire trade is a text thread and a Facebook group.
The advice in every traveler group is "keep all your texts as evidence." Evidence shouldn't be a screenshot folder.
Every assignment is a new negotiation from zero — your history of showing up and finishing scope counts for nothing.
Licensed journeymen sit at home in slack markets while boom markets bid wages up to import travelers. The problem isn't supply — it's routing.
Locked terms
Every booking on Crewbound is a countersigned agreement: rate, per diem, OT schedule, start date, duration, site details, and the replacement policy. Here's what that means for you.
You and the contractor both sign at booking. Until both signatures are on it, nothing is confirmed — and nothing is owed.
Confirmed terms can't be edited. Any change is a proposed amendment that takes effect only when you sign it, and every version stays on record.
Download the agreement as a PDF — every version, both signatures. Your records, off the platform, no screenshots required.
Paid different than agreed? Flag it. Upheld flags derank the contractor in matching, and repeat violators face an access review.

Verification is the only thing between you and real traveling calls — and it never costs you anything. Four rails, reviewed by our trust-ops team — typically within 48 hours.
Government ID review by trust ops — once, not per application. Identity-vendor liveness checks rolling out.
State board lookup where available; a human reviewer for fragmented states and city records, so your license counts everywhere.
Upload OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, NICET, BICSI, and comparable cards once — trust ops reviews them (typically under 48h) and they follow you to every call.
Consent-based background checks coming with launch partners. You control what's shared and when.
Your credentials roll up to a site-readiness badge per call — the contractor forwards it to their GC, and you skip the folder-of-photographed-cards routine on badging day.

Four facts per completed placement: showed up, worked safe, completed scope, would rehire. You own it, you choose when to share it, and you can attach context to any mark. No composite score, no GPS, no surveillance — ever.
