The problem

The routing layer is a recruiter's text thread.

Licensed journeymen in slack markets like Portland sit idle while boom markets carry 150+ unfilled calls the same week. The workers willing to travel find out what a call really pays at the gate. That isn't infrastructure — it's why Crewbound exists.

Slack markets

Licensed journeymen idle in markets like Portland — nowhere local to go.

150+ open calls

Unfilled in boom markets the same week, while project schedules slip at a cost measured in millions a month.

"Told $40. Handed $32."

The bait-and-switch after a 1,200-mile drive: promised on the phone, cut at the gate, nothing in writing.

Routing, not staffing

How Crewbound works.

Post the call with terms up front, route verified travelers from every market, lock the agreement both sides signed, and build a record that travels with the worker.

01

Post the call

Terms up front: rate, per diem, schedule, and duration. Every match is pre-qualified on the numbers, not just the skills.

02

Route

Credential-verified travelers ranked across every market — each with a routing line and a mobilization date, not just a resume.

03

Lock

Both sides countersign at booking. Terms become immutable, amendments need both signatures, and the agreement exports to PDF.

04

Build the record

Four items per completed placement: showed up, worked safe, completed scope, would rehire. Worker-owned. No scores, no GPS.

A project staffing lead reviews ranked traveler matches on a tablet at a data center jobsite.

For contractors

Fill mission-critical calls from anywhere in the country.

When your market is tapped out, the right journeyman is sitting idle two states away. Crewbound routes verified, travel-ready trades to your call — on terms locked before anyone mobilizes.

Cross-market routing

Pull from slack markets — Portland, Boise, Spokane — with travelers ranked by credential fit, mobilization feasibility, and terms fit against their stated floors.

Site-readiness badge

Every worker arrives with a per-call credential roll-up — "meets site requirements: 9/9" — that you forward straight to your GC.

No-show backfill

If a confirmed traveler doesn't mobilize, the next-ranked candidates from your original shortlist surface within 24 hours.

$0 hourly markup, ever

One agency journeyman at a 40% markup on $40/hr, running 50-hour weeks, costs roughly $3,200 a month in spread. Crewbound is a flat software subscription — the spread stays on your jobsite.

Routing console

Built for the first filled call.

Post the terms, rank travelers across every market, and lock the agreement. The console is tuned for one job: a qualified, countersigned shortlist in under 24 hours.

Trust rails

Verify once. Work anywhere.

There is no clean national license registry, so Crewbound is built around that reality: automate the easy checks, route fragmented records to trust ops, and never pretend an upload is the same as verification.

1

Identity

Government ID review by trust ops; identity-vendor liveness checks rolling out.

2

License

State board lookup where available; reviewer queue for fragmented states and city records.

3

Certifications

Trust-ops review of uploaded OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, NICET, BICSI and comparable cards (typically under 48h).

4

Background

Consent-based background checks coming with launch partners.

Every verified credential rolls up to a per-call site-readiness badge — "meets DC-42 requirements: 9/9" — the artifact you forward to your GC before badging day, instead of a folder of photographed cards.

For workers

The rate you accept is the rate you're paid.

See the whole deal — rate, per diem, schedule, duration — locked and countersigned before you drive 1,200 miles. If it isn't honored, you flag it, and the record follows the contractor, not you.

Locked terms before you mobilize

Confirmed terms can't be edited. Any change is an amendment that needs your signature, with every version on record.

Verification is free, once

Verify identity, license, and certs one time and carry it to every call. Workers never pay Crewbound anything.

Your agreement, exportable

Download the countersigned agreement as a PDF and keep every version — no more screenshotting texts for evidence.

A record you own

Completed work, rehire intent, and your context on any mark. No composite score, no GPS — shared only when you choose.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is Crewbound a staffing agency?

No. Crewbound is software. Contractors employ and pay workers directly — Crewbound never sets pay, never supervises work, and never takes a percentage of worker pay. Contractor teams pay a flat monthly software subscription.

What does "locked terms" mean?

Rate, per diem, schedule, start date, and duration are countersigned by both parties at booking and become immutable. Any change requires an amendment signed by both sides, with the full version history visible to both. If pay doesn't match the agreement, the worker can flag a violation — upheld flags derank the contractor in matching, and repeat violations trigger an access review.

What about union calls?

Crewbound serves merit-shop contractors only. We do not place hall-jurisdiction calls, and we are not a way around union referral systems.

What does verification cover?

Identity (government ID reviewed by our trust-ops team, with identity-vendor liveness checks rolling out), state license lookup, and trust-ops review of uploaded certifications such as OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, BICSI, and NICET — typically within 48 hours. Consent-based background checks are coming with launch partners. Workers verify once, free, and every credential rolls up to a per-call site-readiness badge contractors can forward to their GC.

Which markets does Crewbound cover?

Crewbound is launching in Phoenix, with Dallas–Fort Worth next — and recruiting verified travelers nationwide. If you're a traveling trade worker, you can get verified from any market today.

How fast can I get a shortlist?

Post the call with terms up front and Crewbound ranks credential-verified travelers across every market, each with a mobilization date. Target: a qualified shortlist in under 24 hours.
